Life

Another first in the books.

I've never really experienced death this close. At least not, at an age that I could really comprehend it.

Today, my grandmother passed away in her young 60's. One of the sweetest, most real people I have ever had the pleasure of being in a part of their life.

She never judged and always loved.

She had been so sick in October, that she wasn't able to make it to our wedding and she was just as upset and bummed about it as we all were. The next day before we left for our trip to PA. We went to visit her and I gave her my wedding bouquet.

That's the last time I saw her or talked to her, and I'm bummed about it. I've been so busy that I didn't make more time for her.

The plant she had given me is still alive and acutally, I went to water it earlier and noticed it has little baby sprouts on it finally!

It's never too late to quit smoking. Encourage the ones you love to live healthy long lives, with those that love them :)

and Enjoy your friends and family to the fullest.

  2. I'm sorry for your loss!

My aunt died of lung cancer, and she was the first person who I was close to that died.

It sounds like you and your grandma had a great relationship, and I'm sure that she appreciated your wedding bouquet.
